Riverside Cottage is an idyllic luxury Lakeland self catering retreat on the banks of the River Greta in a quiet country location but only 10 minutes flat walk by the river to Keswick town centre. There is private parking for two cars adjacent to the cottage. It is conveniently situated for those arriving by coach with the bus stop only 50 yards from the door, public transport is good and many Keswick walks can be undertaken from the front door.

The end of terrace Victorian slate cottage has spectacular views over and along the river from all the rooms except the single bedroom, which looks over the houses to Walla Crag.

A stable door between the kitchen and dining area gives access to the delightful private riverside patio with garden furniture (and a removable rotary clothes line), an ideal place to relax and watch the wildlife on the river - Please note that young children would need to be supervised when using this patio because there is a low wall (60cms high) and a steep drop to the river.

To the front of the cottage is a small but delightful south facing garden with a secluded patio area and seating. Also outside there is a separate entrance to the drying/recycling room with tumble dryer, dehumidifier & recycling containers.
