Riverside Cottage enjoys private off road parking for two cars directly in front of the cottage.
WiFi is complimentary and unlimited, approx 16 Mbps.
The lounge has a remote control coal effect gas stove, a Panasonic 40-inch Smart ultra HD TV, and a large window with stunning views upstream.
The kitchen contains a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, oven with hob above and a microwave oven, views over the the river Greta.
The dining room still has the original Victorian (non-working) fireplace and amazing river views. In the interests of convenience a second HDTV and a DAB radio have been added.
A stable door opens from the kitchen/dining room onto the private patio for relaxed outdoor dining. Herons, dippers, mergansers, goldeneye, red squirrels, otters and kingfishers have all been sighted from the patio, with the ducks often waiting to be fed.
There are three bedrooms -
Double bedroom with a five foot bed.
Twin bedded room with two single beds.
Single bedroom.
The bedrooms retain their character with the double and twin rooms having (non-working) traditional cast-iron fireplaces.
The double and twin rooms have river views and the single room looks over towards Walla Crag.
All the rooms are light and airy with large state of the art UPVC sash windows.
The property has both a bathroom and a shower room.
Upstairs there is a bathroom with bath (with a hand held rinsing shower), washbasin and toilet.
Downstairs there is a shower room with a mains pressure shower (not electric) washbasin and toilet.
The cottage is centrally heated throughout.
Bed linen, tea towels and hand towels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, hair dryer and a homemade cake are all included in the price as are all utility costs.
There is a shared tumble dryer which is housed in the small store located to the left of the front door.
A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge, please remember to request them when booking.
Towels can be provided at a charge of £4.00 per person per week.
